All my candles are hand poured using only the best carefully selected Vegan friendly wax, made from responsibly sourced Soy. My supplier takes sustainability very seriously so you can be sure the ingredients I use meet rigorous environmental standards.
How to get the best out of your candle
The first burn
Always burn your candle for the first time for approx 3 hours, or until the top layer of wax has melted to the edge of the jar. Wax has a memory so this will ensure an even burn when next lighting.
Avoid draughty areas
Another way to make your candle last longer is to avoid draughty areas, as this means your candle will be consumed more rapidly.
Trim your wick between burns
Trimming your wick is very important. The longer the wick the quicker it will burn. It also prevents black smoke from occurring and ensures the glass isn't over heating. Trim the wick before every burn to about 1/4 of an inch - the same length as new.
Use the lid provided
We recommend using the lids provided to prevent dust from settling on the candle. If dust has settled, you can use a cotton pad to remove this from the top of the wax.
